G. Patrick Jacobs
G. Patrick Jacobs is a life long resident of Charleston, West Virginia. Pat graduated from Charleston High School in 1972. He received his undergraduate degree from West Virginia University having graduated in 1976 with a Bachelor of Science Business Administration Degree with a major in Accounting. Pat Jacobs graduated from West Virginia University School of Law in 1979.
Pat Jacobs is married to Rhonda and they have four children: Aleshia, Krista, Jake & Lillie. Pat and Rhonda have three grandchildren, Parker, Emma & Georgie.
Pat Jacobs has been an attorney representing disabled and injured individuals since 1979. In the governments and big business's war against the poor, Pat Jacobs stands by and fights for the rights of injured workers and disabled individuals. Pat Jacobs has been quoted as saying "in these days and times criminals have more rights than injured workers." Pat Jacobs helps lobby for the rights of injured workers and injured people before the West Virginia Legislature. He is constantly fighting the influence and power exerted by the insurance industry, the coal industry and other big business. Pat Jacobs has also been quoted as saying there are individuals within the coal industry that want to take injured workers back to the days when "mules were more valuable than workers."
